Absolutely. Sorry you're going through such hell trying to build on
OS X. The truth is that we don't have many people developing on that
system, so I'm not surprised that our INSTALL document is lacking.

Hey OS X people, once you've figured out all the pitfalls, do you
think you can consolodate a patch together for INSTALL? I don't want
to see any more people go through this. :-)
