But do you get the actual corruption if you checkout _and_ import via
file:///? Please try that. I still suspect it's a client problem.

No, iconv has nothing to do with it. We do not touch file contents.

Hm, that might be the problem, yes. Although I've no idea why it would
manifest itself over a local link, and exactly on the delta window boundary.
