Well, I got the patch from Microsoft, and it works! The problem is fixed. It turns out all I had to do was call professional support, which is 24/7, and they sent me the hotfix via email. I was worried they would take down my credit card number first or something, but they just gave it to me. Also, they said that the service pack 1 is supposed to be out before the end of this month, so hopefully next time this comes up, you guys can just tell people to get the service pack.
