Microsoft proxy server and SVN

Hi,

Can svn client access external svn server from within a microsoft
proxy server, ISA?

I have such reports from one of the University I work with. Their
students have requested the school to open up the port so that they
can access to our svn server. So far, they are unable to do so even
when the port has been opened.

Can anyone confirm this?
