"no such revision" - FSFS storage

I seem to be missing an entire revision:
svnadmin: No such revision 729

- nothing in the revs or revsprops folders regarding this revision -
and I get this when I run svn up:
svn: Reference to non-existent node '3r.0.r729/3664' in filesystem '/
repos/blah/db'

I cannot use the svnadmin recover, as this is a FSFS stored repository.
