Good idea, 2 issues here are the fact much of the 'code' is a binary
format generated by GUI Tools
and impossible to 'merge' meaning merges will mean reimplementation of
one of the 2 variants over
the top of the other.
This means we tend to keep the branches very short time-wise.
Branches in general have a VERY bad reputation here, that is an issue we
would need to address as well.
