John,

I also downloaded and installed SmartSVN client. I was able to check-out BlueBird but, I could not check-in. I received the same error that I got from TortoiseSVN client.

Subject: BUG ==> Tortoise SVN won't prompt for Credentials.

I can clear the credentials, however Tortoise SVN won't prompt me for new credentials when I try to commit, but will error out as forbidden. From a separate computer this user is able to commit files to this repository.

Tortoise Client is 1.9.???

The SVN server is older, however it's been reliable.

Still though, Tortoise SVN should be able to prompt the user for credentials.

Perhaps this would be a great feature to give the user the authority to explicitly change the credentials.

We used to have the problem that if users didn't enter the login as DOMAIN\username where the text is case sensitive that login wouldn't be possible, however it could always be rectified by clearing the credentials.
