OK, be cool everyone. Just to avoid confusion, Stefan who is the lead
developer has already said he will implement your suggestion, although
not in 1.7.x.

Jean-Marc's point is that you sent in the initial report and then
followed up a week later by saying (effectively) "why haven't you done
this yet?". Your request may very well be valid, but so far you are
the only one who has complained about it. No-one has said that it will
not be done unless you send in a patch, but if you have a personal
itch with an open source product then sending in a patch is one sure
way of getting things moving.

If you are not able to provide a patch, as most people aren't, then
that's fine too, but it will happen when the people who do the coding
actually have the time and motivation to make the change themselves.
At the moment it is only Stefan doing any active coding (plus a very
few patch contributors) so you have to join the queue.
