Well, I didn't want to be pushy, sorry for that. I got no reply at all
and thus wasn't sure if anyone actually read it. I don't mind if it
takes a couple of weeks to fix, just wanted to make sure it gets done
eventually.

It's a pity that it doesn't get done in 1.7.x though, I guess 1.8 will
take rather a year or so to be released? Next time I'll try to get a
hold of early beta versions and complain about such unpleasant changes
before the final release.
