Thanks for the detailed explanation. Let's do not further mind the phrase (about difficalty of implementation) that abruptly changed the direction of the discussion - this seems to be said hastily.
What about the feature itself? Have anyone an idea whether the requirements are correct and full? Is it possible to improve the requirements? Recall that the main idea was to emulate the feature 'Show labels in history of item' in VSS to view product version labels in the history of any item.
