And just for the record (in-case someone checks the archive):
VisualSVN sets the UpdateCheckURL in HKLM/Software/TortoiseSVN(or on
64-bit machines that's HKLM/Software/WoW6432Node/TortoiseSVN). By
removing that entry, you get the "right" version check once again.
So thanks once more Andreas. Ur initial idea that the upgrade check was
redirected, was absolutely right (I didn't initially locate it though,
since I only checked in HKCU/Software).
