I'd say it is stable enough to be used.

I'm not sure if we have to provide the licenses with the binary distribution?

All our external libs are already mentioned in the about box (the
version information). I think that counts as 'mentioning' those libs?

I agree. If someone starts complaining, then they can at least tell us
exactly what they expect from us.
