I agree. I think all dialogs should cancel with escape, because it's the
standard way Windows works. It drives me mad to hit escape to dismiss
something only to realise I have to go to the mouse to get rid of it. Or
do some combination of F4 and a modifier (can't ever remember that one).
If we're worried about losing log text accidentally, we should add some
kind of confirmation message if the text has changed.
Actually, thinking as I type, a nice feature would just be to persist the
log text in the edit control if the user escapes or cancels. I often on
TSVN start a commit, write the message, and then think better of it and
cancel the dialog. If I've written a particularly beautiful log message,
then I cut and paste into notepad or something until I'm actually ready to
do the commit.
