It's predominately a bug in the SVN libraries which TSVN uses. It's
being/has been fixed, but that fix hasn't made it through to an official
SVN release yet. There have also been bugfixes/improvements made to the
TSVN source since the last official release which should also improve
things in that area.

Unfortunately, people using the test build are currently reporting that
it's slow at the moment, so I can't recommend that it as an instant fix,
but it should be in a couple of days...
