Why, when I right-click on any file in my system, does Tortoise feel the
need to scan every single version-controlled file it can find? I\'ve
watched it do this with my own eyes using Filemon. This behaviour
significantly impacts on the speed of explorer, not exactly a nifty
beast to begin with, because I have several thousand version-controlled
files as part of a large project.
