Yes, I was more or less aware of that. What I'm mainly wondering, is either:

When I'm logged in as administrator, isn't there some way of installing for
a specific limited user on this machine.

or

When I'm logged in as the limited user, why doesn't this invocation do the
trick:
runas //user:ComputerName\administrator "msiexec /ju tortoise_blabla.msi"
And especially: is there a correct invocation that would work?

Maybe this more correctly belongs on Windows XP list though..

Yes, I thought as much. Good to get a confirmation, that nothing is silently
getting corrupted ;-)
