[Subclipse-users] Subclipse performance during synchronize

Hi, I'm using Eclipse 3.2, Subversion 1.4.0 and Subsclipse 1.03. I have
checked-out a fairly large project from our local subversion server and
I'm looking at an anomally with performance of the "Syncronize with
repository" operation.

When I run this from Package Explorer view in the Java perspective it
takes > 15 mins to complete and the progress bar reports each individual
file in my workspace being compared.

When I run this from the Navigator view in the Resource perspective it
takes about 30 seconds and the progress bar simply reports "Refreshing
resource data".

Why is there a difference and is the a bug or a feature? If the latter
then can anyone point me at the justification?

Thanks,
Matt.
