French translation ready to be committed [was: The svn 1.2 release.]

I am replying (with a new Subject line) because I think the salient points in
this conversation may have been overlooked.

It appears that you have provided a translation (in a separate email) and that
you are waiting for someone to commit it. I am not involved in the
translations myself, but hopefully someone who is will now pick it up. Perhaps
you could attach the translation (or a URL to it) to a reply to this message,
to make it easier to find.

That sounds perfectly reasonable to me. It would be good to document this
decision somewhere within the French translation files, to avoid confusing people.

Yes. It just needs somebody to commit it.
