It sounds like we all agree that it is okay to use shorter names as
canonical, as long as the documentation is changed to reflect that.

So, I'm hereby asserting that we have consensus on

   1. Max's proposed list of canonical keyword names above, plus
   2. Changing all applicable documentation to reflect this.

...such that this is now what fixing issue #2219 means :-).
