Feature request: Advanced repository browsing over http

I like the fact that I can simply open my web browser, type in a repository
URL and - voila - there it is.

However, are there any plans to incorporate more functionality - much like
ViewCVS offers? I'd like to browse spesific versions this way, log history,
branches, etc. (Even create new repositories, so we didn't have to telnet
onto the linux to do it... not really a problem)

I have found ViewCVS to be very unstable when used with Subversion (which
keeps getting into a wedged state when browsed). Also, the GUI-interface in
ViewCVS is not very intuitive for new users.

It would be nice if this functionality came "out of the box."

This functionality would be sufficient to use Subversion as a "project
portal."
