Great! The only problem I can see is that this wont work on
Windows. But IMHO this is not a real issue. Most Windows-People would
use some GUI anyway. And if you want to do serious scripting on
Windows, you should go with cygwin and then the backticks will work
for windows, too.

So if anyone is interested in my Eur 0.02 : I am entirely +1 on this
"svn url" solution.
