Ditto. This is C. It's not a great language, but when one uses it,
it's generally better not to build tiny little abstractions which turn
it into "slightly-different-from-C."

No real opinion here. Ben's right that TRUE and FALSE work well as
documentation that you're using a boolean value; on the other hand,
it's still a tiny little abstraction like I described above. (But
it's also a very common tiny little abstraction which is used in many
many places, so it doesn't bother me as much.)
