Storing Subversion repositories within another Subversion repository.

Would there be any side-effects of storing an empty, static subversion repository within another subversion repository?

(Please note that I'm NOT trying to transfer or merge the repositories and am I NOT trying to run multiple repositories - I'm simply trying to store an empty, static repository within another development repository and when that development is released the empty repository is released with it to be used for entirely different purposes.)
