I did this when we were preparing material for an introduction to
subversion course I gave. Naturally, we kept our course materials
checked in a subversion repository, including the tutorial repository
(in FSFS format). This worked fine.

I've also experimented with keeping my revprops folder as a working
copy of a second repository so that I can keep a history of rev prop
changes. This worked fine as well.
