I was using Bash, but that is probably unimportant. Now I tested the
bug
on a newly-created empty repository. It turned out that this bug
occurred in case of HTTP access on Apache server, but not with svnserve
or direct access using file://... URL (this time SVN 1.5.4 on Windows).
