Is TortoiseSVN doing something different? If it's showing exactly the
same fault then it's not a TSVN issue, it's an SVN issue. TSVN will
work correctly once Subversion is working correctly again.

I've had these sorts of problems and also seen them reported on several
occasions here and on the TSVN list.
