It all depends upon the dependencies in the F7 RPMS and whether or not
F6 will satisfy them. You can always build from source code.
You should be aware, if you are not already, that F6 has been
unsupported for almost a year already. It went EOL last December, so not
only will you not find updated subversion RPMS for it, you will not find
other RPMS for it, which would contain other bug fixes and importantly
security patches and updated kernels.
Fedora is a distribution with a "raison d'etre" to be leading edge, with
relatively short post-release lifespans. F10 will be released at
the end of this month. One month later, F8 will go EOL, which will mean
that F9 and F10 will be the only officially supported releases. The post
release support timeline is about 13 months.
If you are going to ride the Fedora train, you need to keep
up. Otherwise, give due consideration to other distributions with longer
support timelines. If you want to stay with a free RH based product,
consider CentOS, otherwise perhaps Ubuntu LTS.
