Thanks for your answer. Commands I used were svn checkout <url> and svn
update, with various repositories. Some examples:

        http://arcon.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/arcon/trunk/overlay
        http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/vmware/trunk
