Don't mean to be a pest, but does anyone have any thoughts on this issue?
Or even just comments as to whether the performance I'm seeing sound normal
so I know if I should be looking for something that can be fixed or if I
just have to live with this performance?

Subject: VERY slow performance on SVNSync?
I've setup a "mirror" repository for my primary project management SVN
repository using SVNSync. The repositories are on two different servers at
different locations on the internet. I access both through HTTP via Apache
server.
When I first setup the mirror and ran the sync, it initially ran pretty
quick, but about 2/3 of the way through the version (it was up around 500+
versions at the time) the sync process started getting VERY slow. Ever
since then, all syncs are going VERY VERY slow. It will frequently take 5
or 10 minutes to commit a single revision and when I check the logs for the
revisions it's working on I frequently find that that particular revision
might have been something as minor as a remote copy of a single very small
file or something similar that I assume actually requires VERY little data
to be updated. The copying of the property settings after the commit of the
revisions is also take several minutes every time...
What am I doing wrong!?!? I was hoping that svnsync was going to be a
viable solution for close to real time backup at a remote location for my
repository but at these speeds the svnsync could simply continue to fall
further behind the rate at which updates are happing to the master
repository and never actually catch up during times of peak activity.
