Hi Rajashree,

 

Could you please clarify what you mean by "restrict access to the passwd
file".

1) Access to the passwd file from the OS ?. If yes, which OS are
you using.

2) Access to the passwd file from Subversion ?.

3) Any others I may have missed.

 

Could you also explain what you are trying to do.
