RE: Passwd file

Hi Lakshman,

The SVN Repository which contains various projects is located on
a Windows XP server.

I use the passwd file which provides the access to various
projects.

Is there any way by which I can restrict access to the passwd file from the
OS?

or

Is there any way to encrypt the passwords given in the passwd file?

Thanks & Regards,

Rajashree Menon

Hi Rajashree,

Could you please clarify what you mean by "restrict access to the passwd
file".

1) Access to the passwd file from the OS ?. If yes, which OS are you
using.

2) Access to the passwd file from Subversion ?.

3) Any others I may have missed.

Could you also explain what you are trying to do.

Thanks

Lakshman
