So what you're saying is if user "somebody" performs a checkout and a lock that I should be able to see it?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, what I was getting at is to be able to see the list of all checked out files in the repository by all users.

This is available in Perforce and ClearCase.

 

Yes, but that's not the same philosophy. If we had to do comparison, the svn checkout is like the clearcase mkview and the clearcase checkout is much more like the svn lock.
