4 timezones (permanently though people do move about a bit) for us
spread almost at even spacings around the globe.

3 of these teams are constantly working in the same project space.

There's only 8-10 developers in each timezone but we get a fair bit of activity.

Needless to say, minimising the required bandwidth is also important to us.
