I suppose you could do that. I'm not sure if there are any bindings
which will prevent a Windows SVN executable from operating on a Linux
repository.

Besides that won't solve the problem with having multiple projects in
the same repository.

I would recommend looking at svnadmin dump/load and svndumpfilter.
