I, personally, would love to write:
svn export -r PAPER_I_HAVE_SENT_TO_THE_EDITOR_ON_2005.11.11 svn+ssh://repo/
instead of
svn export -r 256489 svn+ssh://repo/
and the same for update, checkout, merge, externals, etc...
