Re: StarTeam to subversion conversion

That's cool - and the main problem with email, me thinks. Emoticons just don't capture the body language that gives a message true context. I completely understand what you are saying about the tone of my msgs - I was very, very frustrated, but as it turned out, it was a Red Hat problem, not an SVN issue. I never have liked RH, but that's another rant.... :-)

And in case it's not obvious, I am a complete newbie to svn. I have never used it (or cvs) and now am tasked by a secret radical anti-windows insurgency to prototype it in order to determine if...well...you can see from my email address I can't be too specific (damn those 9/11 bastards and office politics!!). Which is one reason I am back in the friggin office on a long weekend while everyone else (here) is having a holiday. Give me credit for tenacity, at least. :-)

As for Star Team, I will keep the list posted on how this project progresses within the limitations of my position.

Finally, I am extremely grateful for the help offerred on technical lists such as this. As my knowledge grows, I'll be contributing to solutions as well. Thanks to all.

Hi Mark,

Sorry for misunderstanding what you meant. The actual words you wrote
combined with the general tone of all your posts certainly could lead
one to think otherwise, and genuinely was confusing other users. I'm
glad it's just a misunderstanding.

Cheers!
