That's pretty huge. We have working copies with tens of thousands of
text files, but the working copy size is only around 250MB total. 500
5- to 100-MB files is a whole 'nother ballgame.

I could write a script to randomly generate 500 5- to 100-MB files,
check them into a repository in batches, and then try to check it out
and see if it works. Might take me a day or two to cook up...
