I am begining this fight also.. to rid us of Merant VM PVCS on unix (maybe the windows version is ok, but the unix client sucks!). The older developers are still flying the flag for CVS to be selected for the new project. *sigh*

You raised some good points that I will need to use in my push for SVN.
