Before the release of Subversion 1.2, I remember there being many
messages that Subversion 1.2 would require the at-that-time-not-yet-
released Apache 2.0.54. I cannot find any reference to that anymore, and
a more-recent message said this only applied to one platform, but I
don't remember what that platform was and can't find that message now
either. The only reference to this situation I can now find is a
side-remark in this bug report:
