Can't find equivalent to "CVS release -d"

Hi,
I'm a CVS user who is changing to SVN, the only thing I'm finding missing is an ability to delete your working copy. From what I can gather, the SVN repository tracks checkouts, so I didn't want to delete it manually. Is there any way to tell the repository you no longer have a working copy, or is it okay to delete manually.
I can't find out how to do it in the book or the FAQ.
Thanks,
Steve
