Write-access via Windows Webfolders

Hi to all!

After installation of MS patch for webfolders
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;892211#14)
I can successfully mount SVN repository as Webfolder,
copy/delete/move/rename files on it.
But it is impossible to open and edit files right there!
So it is still needed to "copy from repo/edit/copy back to repo" ?
MS limitation?
