This depends by the program/client you use to open the document.
The program/client must be dav compliant.
For example MS Word is a dav compliant instead notepad no.
Infact if you use MS Word to open a txt on your repository it works
correctly and you can also note the lock on the document.
If you try to use notepad to open, it not works because not dav compliant.
