Very Slow Reviewing Revision

From: Tom Smith <witisi_at_yahoo.com>

I setup a subversion repository a couple of months
ago. So far it has been great, no real problems.

I am (mostly) sure that I tested the ability to view
revisions during setup, but it seems I now have a
problem.

Using Tortoise SVN, I try to view a revision. This
takes forever. (2-4 minutes :P )

Repository has a few thousand files, total size 70MB.
I am running it on a RH ES3 server using apache as the
front end. While waiting to view a revision, top
reveals 99-102% percent being used by the http
process.

I understand this is a rather large repository, and I
may just need to break it up, but is this normal?

Thanks for you help.

Will Smith
