While I found Bernstein's argument for Mail-Followup-To to be good, the
reality is that few popular mail clients handle it. But that article doesn't
really try to make a case against Reply-to munging; it just makes the case
for the Mail-Followup-To field.

As for the Rosenthal article, I didn't find any of the arguments in it
convincing, let alone strong. Some are just downright dated (e.g. having to
write down and type the address, as opposed to cut and paste).

However, as many of the notes elsewhere on the net have observed, this
subject is likely to start a flame war. Before we even go down that path,
maybe we can start by encouraging people to delete the original text of the
thread if it's unnecessary to the response - a much less controversial
point.
