I used Firedeamon until I recently switched to
http://dark.clansoft.dk/~mbn/svnservice/
mentioned in
http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=users&msgNo=9050
Easy as pie - a candidate to bundle with svn for windows - IMHO.
M
P.S.: The reason for switching was, that firedeamon is free for personal
use only.

| I don't blame Subversion's authors at all for not including this support
| for Windows. Starting a daemon on Unix is as easy as a fork(). Windows
| requires you to jump through crazy hoops to get this functionality.
|
| Firedaemon is an excellent tool though, and very well-suited to tools
| such as svnserve. It would be a good idea for the Win32 notes to point
| to this tool, and possibly include the FireDaemon definition file with
| the Win32 distribution as well.
