windows clients filename case 5min lockup

Im seeing a lockup doing checkout with the 1.0.4 tourtise and the command
line clients.

We have a unix/apache/svn repository with about 500 files. Twords the
end of it there is a directory with Image2.gif and image2.gif. When this
repository is checked out the windows clients hang for abotu 5min.
Eventualy popping up an error message saying Failed to add file
'Image2.gif': object of the same name exists.

I created a new respository containing the same files and saw the same
thing. I created an empty repository and added foo.txt and Foo.txt.
That came up with the error immediatly.

The long lockup only seems to happen with the case conflict at the end of
long repository. During the lockup you can click the cancel button for
the update but nothing happens. Its doing some clean up in the windows
client... but if its going to take so long it needs a dialog that its
still alive and what its doing.

Some of my users seeing it hang killed the subversion process or
rebooted.

It would be handy if you could set a property to refuse to check in files
that differ only in case.
