I have to admit I still don't have a good grip on how
to handle this. For instance if I just untar Doug
Schmidt's ACE library and import it, when I co under
Linux, it won't compile because it fails when patching
a file because of end-line issues.

If anyone has ACE under subversion, I'd like to know
how you've handled this problem.
