Yeah, I'd prefer to have the umask set in subversion itself, as a
configurable option. Until then, though, I just set usage policy at
our office and carry a length of 2x4 to enforce it.

Too much administrative overhead, I'd have to remember to save the
wrapper scripts and copy the new binaries out of the way each time I
upgraded -- I have much more important things to worry about, like
clubbing users.
