RE: 1.9 fails commits on repos checked out previously on 1.8.x

Adding few details after a bit of investigation.

If I try to commit with TSVN 1.9.0 from network folder, the error message is thrown every time at a different point... sometimes at the beginning, sometimes in the middle, sometimes almost at the end... and sometimes the commit succeeds!

Maybe my previous guess about "Vacuum pristine copies" Clean up or "Read only" attribute setting are not relevant since they're not always working and the straight forward commit may succeed just trying more than once (but the number of operations executed during the commit before getting the error is not increasing/decreasing attempt after attempt... it's just random).

The relationship between the bug and the network folder is clear, but I still can't figure out the reason. Hope these further details may help some expert.
