RE: 1.9 fails commits on repos checked out previously on 1.8.x

Same here: on network folder, checkout and commit fail with said error message. Sometimes removing "read only" attribute from Working Directory worked for commits, but not always. Sometimes Clean Up with "Vacuum Pristine copies" worked as well, but not always either.
Moving the very same Working Directory on a PC folder instead of network one make commit and checkout work like a charm.
